As spring and summer approach, our thoughts turn to outdoor activities. This time of year offers a magic its own, the sun goes down earlier and the temperatures remains warm enough to enjoy an evening on the patio.
We can savor sunsets at wineries, while sipping a wonderful glass of wine. Just remember that evenings in Wine Country can be chilly as the night drops, so bring jackets.

The views leading to sunset are gorgeous year-round, overlooking vineyards leading to the Marijke’s Grove outdoor sculpture gallery. But on Wednesday evenings from mid-May to mid-October, 6 p.m. to sunset, the winery hosts and official Wines & Sunsets party, featuring local food vendors and popular live music bands in addition to the wines from the Russian River Valley and the Rockpile Viticultural Area.
