One of the best all-purpose wine apps around, Vivino allows iPhone users to snap a label shot (boasting perhaps the best label recognition technology) and use the image to look up the wine’s tech sheets, ratings, winemaker notes, critic reviews and more. Keep track of your favorite wines with five star-rating capabilities and With over 10 million wine lovers tracking their favorite wines and sharing them with friends, keeping tabs on the best “real world” wines has never been easier.
Delectable iPhone App
The Delectable iPhone wine app often goes head to head with Vivino in terms of users and specific features. Just like with Vivino, you search wines based on grape varieties or specific wine regions. Personal rating systems for individual wines are available as well, though with Delectable it’s via smiles and not stars. Delectable does have a unique feature that allows you to buy wine that you’ve tried at a restaurant or party directly from the app.

The Cellar iPhone App is targeted to those looking for some cellar management components, though if you are looking for assistance in managing a large cellar, this may not be what you are looking for.
