Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Irish whiskey
- 3/4 cup vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons dried chives
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions

In the same skillet, add the butter, allow to melt; then add the flour and stir forming a roux.

Deglaze the pan with the Irish Whiskey; then add the broth, heavy cream, chives, salt and pepper. Mix and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Use on chicken, steak, salmon, or pasta.
